Dexter
Dexter - DexDrive utility / memory card organizer
Dexter is the utility that DexPlorer should have been. Dexter lets you access a DexDrive and organize your Playstation memory card data one entry at a time, using an easy, Explorer-style interface.
You don't need a DexDrive to use Dexter, though. It also supports the use of memory card image files, so you can copy your saves to or from an emulator like ePSXe.

- Improved DexDrive detection and initialization.
Requirements
- Windows 95, NT version 4, or higher.
- A reasonable amount of RAM, such as 16MB.
- Enough hard drive space to store your game data (8KB per block, 128KB per memory card image).
- A serial port to connect a DexDrive is recommended but not required.
Supported hardware
Dexter currently only supports the serial port DexDrive. Support for other, similar devices is being considered.
Supported file formats
- Memory card image files: .mc, .mcr, .gme, .vgs, .mcd, .ddf
- Single game data files: .mcs, .psx
Japanese language support
Dexter is Unicode-aware when run on Windows NT, 2000, or XP. Japanese support on other systems requires Shift-JIS text capability.
Terms of use
Dexter may be used for non-commercial applications. The original .zip file may be redistributed as long as it remains unmodified and no money, goods, or services are charged or solicited for it.
